Walking in darkness, the blind leading the blind

(Please note this post is under edit)

Let’s imagine you enter a dark room. At first, you can barely make out anything in the room. A dimmer switch is on the wall, so you slowly raise the switch to increase light in the room.  The light slowly begins to shine on the objects in the room. You make out the shapes, and identify a tv on the wall, chairs surrounding a conference table, and some type of plant in the corner.  As the light in the room gets brighter, the objects don’t change, but the details of the objects become clearer. The color and shape of leaves indicate the type of plant, you see the brand and model tv, the material of the chairs and their structure, the detailed wood grain and color of the table.

The tv doesn’t change into a bicycle, and then back to a tv, then back to a bicycle.  The table and chairs don’t morph into a car and broom, then reappear with chairs and stools. The plant doesn’t vanish, then present as a refrigerator.

This simple illustration describes the WT’s spiritual leaders who have a “bad eye,” blind guides walking in darkness, and the horrific result for both themselves and those they lead (Luke 11:36 Eph.4:18; Matt.15:14).

Let’s look at scripture to see what Jesus was talking about when he speaks of an “eye.”

A good eye is likened to a lamp shedding light, given spiritual understanding of the prophetic word, by oil/Holy Spirit (2 Pet.1:19-21; Prov.6:23; Psalm 119:130; Matt.6:22; 1 Cor.12:12; 1 Cor.3:16; Rom.8:9; 1 Cor.12:4; 6:19-20; Rom.12:5-6; Luke 11:34-35; 1 John 4:1; Matt.24:24; Isa.44:18; Luke 11:36; John 8:12;  Matt.5:14-16; Acts 26:17; Eph.5:11; Acts 26:18; Rev.5:6; 1:20; 4:5; Amos 9:8; Rom.9:27-28; Matt.24:22).  Eyes/lamps/prophets are one part of the Body of Christ, one member of the spiritual priesthood who all are to be in subjection to their head, Jesus (Matt.28:18; 1 Cor.8:5-6; John 12:44-46,49-50; 6:63; 8:12; 6:63; John 17:2; Eph.5:23-26,30,27; 1 Cor.12:28-29,27,12,20-21; Rom.12:4-5; 1 Pet.2:5; Eph.2:1-2; 1 Pet.2:9; Eph.2:6; 1 Pet.2:10; Eph.2:10; 1 Pet.2:25; Rev.19:16; 1:6; 21:2,23-27; 22:1-5).True interpretation of prophecy is as a lamp that provides light for the whole Body of Christ, illuminating the pathway to life for the whole Body, as well as those who heed their truthful teachings (2 Pet.1:19-21; Psalm 119:105; 16:11; Prov.4:18).

A bad eye is the opposite of a good eye.  A bad eye does not shine light.  A bad eye does not have spiritual understanding of the prophetic word.  A bad eye is a false prophet.  False prophets spout deceptive teachings, posing as ministers of righteousness, claiming their teachings are the truth, but are NOT (Matt.12:12,24; 2 Cor.11:13-15; Matt.7:15-20; 15:7-9).  They dwell in darkness and do not have the light of life because they are unfaithful and so God has shut their eyes (John 8:12; 6:63; Matt.15:7-9; Isa.29:13-14,10-12). Those who are deceived by their teachings join them in the dominion of darkness, a domain of wickedness where the spiritual hosts have chosen authority given by Satan, authority to deceive others by demonic teachings, lies (Matt.6:23; Eph.6:12; 2 Cor.11:3; 2 Pet.2:1-2,17; John 8:44).  Please, examine all scripture.  The recorded Word is clear that those who spoke of their own imagination, prophesying lies, were among God’s very own people (Acts 20:30; Ezek.13:2; Jer.23:11,21-22;  Deut.18:20-22). When the Israelites were led by blind guides, false prophets, they were led astray, just as prophesied by Jesus to occur in the last days (Jer.14:14; 23:26; 29:9; Ezek.13:3; Matt.24:12,24; 15:14).

The “bad eye” is the unfaithful anointed leaders of WT.  They are a false prophet.  Their own mouths have prophesied and claimed their teachings are by being led by God’s Spirit, yet their teachings vacillate and expire over time. ALL of their prophecies (i.e., 1914, 1975, “this generation,” etc.) have a stellar 100% failure rate (Deut.18:20-22). Have they not even published their interpretation of the book of Revelation, a book that contains words of prophecy?  Yes they have, but their words and understanding of that book and all prophetic word is just like all their teachings, shifting shadows, mere rotten fruit (Rev.22:6-7; Titus 1:2; Matt.7:15-20).  They “just don’t know” because they do not have Holy Spirit (1 John 2:21).

JW’s will say…“but the anointed leaders of WT do not claim to be a prophet.”

Consider this. If I perform medical procedures, but outright state that I am not a licensed medical practitioner to those under my duty of care, does that remove my accountability?  Most certainly not.  Although I give disclaimer that I am not a licensed medical practitioner, but take liberty in performing medical procedures without a lawful license, I still remain liable. Disclaimers do not remove accountability for actions. I bear the responsibility for my unlawful actions, caring for the health of people and putting them at risk for adverse harm. Any who consent to receive my care bear their own responsibility for the choice they made, even fatal consequences.

Both the blind guides of WT and those who submit to their care, bear responsibility for what they have chosen.  The consequence is fatal for the wrong choice. The blind and those blindly led fall in a pit  (Prov.6:12; Psalm 101:4; Prov.16:12; 12:28; Psalm 34:12-13; Prov.4:24; 1 Pet.3:10-11; Prov.12:22; Matt.12:37; John 3:19,21,20; Matt.15:14; Prov.19:9; Ezek.33:11; 18:30-32; 2 Chron.7:14; Luke 13:23; Matt.7:15-21; Isa.1:16; Matt.7:22-23; 22:14; 1 John 1:7; Rev.7:13-15; 21:2; Zech.8:3; Rev.21:3,27).

https://4womaninthewilderness.blogspot.com/2016/02/pluck-out-your-eye.html#comment-form: The eye of the Body of Christ, is the prophets
(Amos 3:7Eph.3:4-5Num.12:6Heb.1:1Rev.22:6Eze.3:1710:12Rev.4:8) (LINK).
If the contemporary Body of Christ is lead by a bad eye (a wicked steward/false prophet/Harlot full of adultery -2Pet.2:14Rev.17:2), that whole body will be thrown into darkness leading to Gehenna.
The faithful are not to "tolerate" such an eye/false prophet
We "tear it out" of the Body of Christ (1Cor.5:13Eph.5:11).
This is done, by not looking back to her (Rev.17:1818:4Luke 17:32,28-29,32Rev.18:411:8), as the eye of a lustful man may seek intoxication from a harlot (Rev.17:2Isa.52:11) instead of his chaste wife (Prov.5:19) (LINK).

We are washed clean by the word (Eph.5:26John 13:10), and through a faithful "clear" "eye"/prophet (Matt.6:22),
[and having the needed humility to weigh carefully, what is said
        by that one (1Cor.14:29;  1John 4:1;  1Thess.5:20-21;  2Cor.13:5)
        (Jer.26:5-6)],
light returns to the body members that accept a good "eye" (1Thess.5:19-20Matt.10:41).
(John 9:7Jer.35:15John 9:11)

The light in a faithful "eye"/prophet, can only benefit the other parts of the Body...
(Eph.4:7-8,11-16Rom.12:6-8Matt.23:34Rev.11:3,7),
...if it is accepted (Matt.10:40-41John 13:20) and followed (Eze.33:31-32Isa.52:8-9,11).
To do so, we must be willing to put new wine (truth) into a new wine-skin (understanding/faith)... and willing to pluck out our own previous personal perceptions, however flattering to us, attractive to our flesh, comfortable and familiar, or cherished as valuable treasures
(Eze.7:19Rev.6:613:1718:11Zeph.1:18) (What do buying and selling mean?)
The harlot's false and poisonous doctrine cannot compare with the riches of truth which Christ entrusts to the work of his faithful priests
