The GB false prophets, leading people to death

The previous posts on this blog share many scriptures describing false prophets [Link 1; Link 2]. In scripture, we read that there are many members of the Body of Christ, and one member, is an eye. Just as a physical eye receives light to transcribe shapes that the mind interprets, so the eye of the Body of Christ who receives light from Jesus, the Holy Spirit/oil, illuminates their “lamp,” their spiritual “eye” (2 Cor.4:6). By the Holy Spirit, not their own carnal thinking, they interpret prophecy (John 8:12; 1 Pet.1:19-21; Rev.1:1-3; 1 Cor.2:10,5,12-14). That is the role of the “eye” of the Body, a prophet interpreting and teaching the prophetic word (1 Pet.1:19-21). Jesus warned beforehand, that in the last days false prophets WILL arise (Matt.24:24-25). Jesus’ warning is critical. Who you are led by and their teachings means your life.

1 Cor.12:12, For even as the body is one and yet has many members, and all the members of the body, though they are many, are one body, so also is Christ. ... 27 Now you are Christ's body, and individually members of it. 28 And God has appointed in the church, first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, administrations, various kinds of tongues. 29 All are not apostles, are they? All are not prophets, are they? All are not teachers, are they? All are not workers of miracles, are they? 18 But now God has placed the members, each one of them, in the body, just as He desired. 16 And if the ear says, "Because I am not an eye, I am not a part of the body," it is not for this reason any the less [a part] of the body. 17 If the whole body were an eye, where would the hearing be? If the whole were hearing, where would the sense of smell be?

Matt.6:22, "The eye is the lamp of the body; so then if your eye is clear, your whole body will be full of light.

John 8:12, Then Jesus again spoke to them, saying, "I am the Light of the world; he who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life."

Psalm 18:28, For You light my lamp; The LORD my God illumines my darkness.

Psalm 36:9, For with you is the fountain of life; in your light we see light.

Matt.6:23, "But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light that is in you is darkness, how great is the darkness!

False teachings do not give us the light of life (John 8:12). The spiritually blind eye of the false prophet leads the blind, others who are unable to spiritually perceive their deceptive teachings are not truth but the result is that both fall into a pit (Matt.15:14). This pit symbolically represents a descent to death (Psalm 30:3). Death is more than just breathing your last physical breath (Rev.3:1; John 6:63; Job 34:6; 33:28).

Matt.5:29, "If your right eye makes you stumble, tear it out and throw it from you; for it is better for you to lose one of the parts of your body, than for your whole body to be thrown into hell.

Rom.6:23, For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

2 Pet.2:1, But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will also be false teachers among you, who will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing swift destruction upon themselves.

There were no chapters and verses in the original writings so read carefully 1 Pet.1:19-21 continuing with 1 Pet.2:1-2.  You see that immediately after Peter tells us that prophets spoke from God as they were moved by Holy Spirit, he continues saying, “ But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction. And many will follow their destructive ways, because of whom the way of truth will be blasphemed (2 Pet.2:1-2; 1 Cor.6:19-20).  The false prophets who teach falsehood, blaspheme truth, are among the Body of Christ.  The very governing body members of WT.  They lead the entire Body of Christ and many others into darkness as they were not given light by Christ to interpret prophecy, but they do so without Holy Spirit, spreading deception/lies (Matt.24:24.18:20-22; 1 Pet.1:19-21; Matt.7:15-20).  The Body of Christ is the dwelling place of God by the Spirit; they are to be representatives of New Jerusalem, a city of truth, a covenant of life (1 Cor.3:16; Zech.8:3; Rev.21:2-4; Gal.4:24,26)!  They cannot give life to those who ingest their fruit/teachings, if those teachings are lies, because eating lies/bad fruit give death (Prov.18:20-21; 2 Cor.11:3). Paul reminded the Body of Christ…

1Cor.6:19, Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own? 20 For you have been bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body.

John 15:8, "My Father is glorified by this, that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be My disciples. ... 16 "You did not choose Me but I chose you, and appointed you that you would go and bear fruit, and that your fruit would remain, so that whatever you ask of the Father in My name He may give to you.

John 15:4, "Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch [Body members of Christ who are to derive sap/Holy Spirit from him, the vine] cannot bear fruit [true teachings] of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me. 5 "I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing.

Matt.7:15, "Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves. 16 "You will know them by their fruits. Grapes are not gathered from thorn bushes nor figs from thistles, are they? 17 "So every good tree bears good fruit, but the bad tree bears bad fruit. 18 "A good tree cannot produce bad fruit, nor can a bad tree produce good fruit. 19 "Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 "So then, you will know them by their fruits.

2 Pet.2:3, and in their greed they will exploit you with false words; their judgment from long ago is not idle, and their destruction is not asleep.

Matt.15;14, "Let them alone; they are blind guides of the blind. And if a blind man guides a blind man, both will fall into a pit."

Jude 1:19, These are the ones who cause divisions, worldly-minded [carnal/earthly], devoid of the Spirit.

Without Holy Spirit, what truth can they teach (John 6:63; 1 John 2:20-21,27; John 15:4-5,18,16; 2 Pet.2:1-2; John 8:44)?  Nothing!  They don’t belong to Jesus if they do not have the Spirit of Christ…

Rom.8:9, However, you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Him.

Jude 1:12, These are the men who are hidden reefs in your love feasts when they feast with you without fear, caring for themselves; clouds without water, carried along by winds; autumn trees without fruit, doubly dead, uprooted;

Isa.26:14, The dead will not live, the departed spirits will not rise; Therefore You have punished and destroyed them, And You have wiped out all remembrance of them.

Jude 1:13, wild waves of the sea, casting up their own shame like foam; wandering stars, for whom the black darkness has been reserved forever.

Eph.5:11. Do not participate in the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but instead even expose them;

John 16:2, "They will make you outcasts from the synagogue [a meeting place], but an hour is coming for everyone who kills you to think that he is offering service to God.

When you speak truth, and expose their teachings of darkness, they will spiritually condemn you and remove/formerly disfellowship you.  But this is the command of Jesus that we heed, if we love him more than our own feelings and fear of losing those we love through their shunning us (John 15:18-21,12-13; John 14:15; Matt.16:25; Phil.3:8).

Matt.10:28, "Do not fear those who kill the body but are unable to kill the soul; but rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

To receive God's permanent condemnation, is to die eternally. This is what the "Lake of Fire" represents. He chooses who receives it's fruit, based upon His own righteous judgments (Isa.33:22; 11:4; 49:25; Jer.30:7) (Gen.3:24; Matt.13:11; Luke8:10; Rev.2:7; 22:17; Prov.3:18) (Rev.15:4).

Isa.26:11, O LORD, Your hand is lifted up yet they do not see it. They see Your zeal for the people and are put to shame; Indeed, fire will devour Your enemies.

2 Pet.3:7, But by His word the present heavens and earth are being reserved for fire, kept for the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men.

Jer.23:29, "Is not My word like fire?" declares the LORD, "and like a hammer which shatters a rock?

Deut.18:20, 'But the prophet who presumes to speak a word in My name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or who speaks in the name of other gods, that prophet shall die.' 21 "And if you say in your heart, 'How shall we know the word which the LORD has not spoken?'-- 22 "when a prophet speaks in the name of the LORD, if the thing does not happen or come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD has not spoken; the prophet has spoken it presumptuously; you shall not be afraid of him.

Isa.2:22, Sever yourselves from such a man, Whose breath is in his nostrils; For of what account is he?

Psalm 1:1, Blessed is the man

Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly [wicked men],
Nor stands in the path of sinners,
Nor sits in the seat of the scornful;

2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord,
And in His law he meditates day and night.

3 He shall be like a tree
Planted by the rivers of water,
That brings forth its fruit in its season,
Whose leaf also shall not wither;
And whatever he does shall prosper.

4 The ungodly are not so,

5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment,

Job 27:8, For what hope have the godless when they are cut off, when God takes away their life?

Psalm 104:29, You hide Your face, they are dismayed; You take away their spirit, they expire And return to their dust.

The Father and Jesus have no need to kill anyone physically to take away lives.  You make that choice.

Deut.30:19, I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live;

Prov.8:35, For whoever finds me finds life,

And obtains favor from the Lord;
36 But he who sins against me wrongs his own soul;
All those who hate me love death.

Jer.29:13, And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.

Matt.7:7, Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.

1 Thess.5:21, Do not despise prophesies. 21 Test all things; hold fast to what is good.

Angels…just invisible?

This post is supplemental to the “good eye, bad eye” post.

JW’s are taught that the angels are only invisible spirit creatures [wt17,No.5].  Please look at the original Greek word translated in scripture, angel, and you can see the meaning of this word is: messenger (https://biblehub.com/greek/32.htm).  

Rev.1:1, “The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show His servants—things which must shortly take

place. And He sent and signified it by His angel to His servant John, 3 Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near.”

In Rev.1:1,3, we read that Jesus sends his angel/human messenger to show his servants things which must shortly take place.  Is the messenger sent to open the words of prophecy in the book of Revelation, an invisible angel?  

Carefully consider the following scriptures as you go through them:

Mal.2:7, For the lips of a priest should keep knowledge, And people should seek the law from his mouth; For he is the messenger of the Lord of hosts.

We see that the Hebrew word translated messenger, has the very same meaning as the Greek word for “angel” (https://biblehub.com/hebrew/4397.htm).  Priests are human angel/messengers.  

  
1 Pet.2:5, you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

Heb.1:13, But to which of the angels has He ever said: “Sit at My right hand, Till I make Your enemies Your footstool”?  (Psalm 110:1; Mark 12:35-37). 14 Are they not all ministering spirits sent forth to minister for those who will inherit salvation?

John 20:21, So Jesus said to them again, “Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.” 22 And when He had said this, He breathed on them, and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit.

1 Cor.12:4, There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. 

Rom.12:4, For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function,  5 so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another.  6 Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, let us prophesy in proportion to our faith;  7 or ministry, let us use it in our ministering; he who teaches, in teaching;

1 Cor.12:11, But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills. 5 There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord. 6 And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all. 27 Now you are the body of Christ, and members individually. 28 And God has appointed these in the church: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, administrations, varieties of tongues. 29 Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Are all workers of miracles? 7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all: 8 for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit,

1 Cor.3:16, Do you not know that you are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in you?

Matt.10:20, for it is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father who speaks in you.

2 Sam.23:2, The Spirit of the LORD spoke through me, And His word was on my tongue.

Can you begin to put the pieces together?  Spirit-anointed are priests, human messengers (“angels”) who offer up spiritual sacrifices, keep the knowledge of God and instruct those who seek them (1 Pet.2:5; Mal.2:7; Heb.1:13-14).  The spiritual priesthood, a spiritual house, is God’s dwelling place in the Spirit (1 Pet.2:5; 1 Cor.3:16). The Spirit of their Father who dwells in them by His Spirit, speaks through their mouth (1 John 2:20-21,27; 1 Pet.2:5; Mal.2:7; Matt.10:20; 2 Sam.23:2). When sent forth by Jesus, they receive the Holy Spirit, a gift given to each body member they are to use for the profit of all (1 Pet.2:5; Mal.2:7; John 20:21; 1 Cor.12:4; Rom.12:4-6; 1 Cor.12:11; Heb.1:13-14; 1 Cor.12:5-6,27-29,7-8; 1 Cor.3:16; John 6:63; 2 Sam.23:2; Matt.10:20).  Anointed differ in gifts of Spirit, but must be united in Spirit, speaking the truth to one another as each is a bride member, a representative of New Jerusalem, a city of truth whose head/bridegroom/husband is Jesus, the truth (1 Cor.12:11,5-6,27-29,7-8; Rom.12:4-5; Eph.4:12-14; 1 Cor.3:16; 1 Pet.2:5; Rom.12:1; Mal.2:7; Eph.4:25; 5:25-27,30-32; John 15:1,4-5; Zech.8:3; Rev.5:10; 21:2,24,27).  

Do we assume anointed are faithful just because they say they are?  Are all anointed faithful angel/messengers, faithful ministering spirits sent by Jesus?  No.

1 Tim.4:1, Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons,

Matt.7:15, “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. 16 You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? 17 Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Therefore by their fruits you will know them.

Matt.24:24, For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.

2 Cor.11:13, For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ.  14 And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. 15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.

Matt.7:21, Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ 

Luke 6:46, But why do you call Me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do the things which I say? 

John 14:15, If you love Me, keep My commandments. 24, He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine but the Father’s who sent Me.

Matt.15:7, Hypocrites! Well did Isaiah prophesy about you, saying: 8 These people draw near to Me with their mouth, And honor Me with their lips, But their heart is far from Me. 9 And in vain they worship Me, Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’ ”

Matt.7:23, And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

When Jesus’ disciples asked him when the temple, Jerusalem, would be destroyed, Jesus described a spiritual event to occur in the last days, when his spiritual temple, the Body of Christ, the spiritual priesthood, would be destroyed by a false prophet (Matt.24:1-4,11,24; John 2:19,21).  This prophecy has occurred. False prophets have arisen from among God’s own people, the anointed who claim to be faithful stewards, appearing as ministers of righteousness, but are in actuality, ministers/messengers/“angels” of Satan… falsely presenting lies as truth, deceiving many, even the elect/anointed (1 Tim.4:1; Matt.7:15-20; 24:24; 2 Cor.11:13-15; Matt.7:21-22; Luke 6:46; John 14:15,24; Matt.15:7; 7:23; John 8:44).  You will recognize these false prophets as the unfaithful anointed leaders of Watchtower whose bad fruit/teachings do not remain, but expire over time, along with their long history of failed predictions (Matt.15:5,16,8; Matt.7:15-20; 24:24; Deut.18:20-22). 

How can the anointed and the many who have been deceived by these false prophets, perceive they have been misled by this “bad eye” who has brought them under the power of Satan through deceptive teachings (1 Tim.4:1; 2 Pet.2:1; Matt.24:24,11-12; 6:23; 15:14; 1 John 4:1)?

Let’s Circle back to Rev.1:1,3 to understand that the angel messenger sent is a spiritual priest, as all messengers are priests (1 Pet.2:5; Mal.2:7). But, not all spiritual priests, body members, have the same function (1 Cor.12:11,5-6,27-29,7-9; 1 Cor.3:16; Rom.12:4-5; 1 Pet.4:10).  The human messenger (“angel”) that is sent is given the gift of Spirit to prophesy (Num.12:6; 24:4,16; 1 Cor.12:12,27-29; 14:32-33; 2 Pet.1:21; Rev.1:1,3; Matt.10:20).  Prophets are always sent to give warning to God’s own people when they need to correct their ways, and what will occur if they do not amend their ways (2 Chron.36:15; Neh.9:30; Jer.25:4-5). 

Amos 3:7, Surely the Lord GOD does nothing, Unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets.

Mark 1:2, As it is written in the Prophets: “Behold, I send My messenger before Your face, Who will prepare Your way before You.”

Psalm 18:28, For You will light my lamp; The Lord my God will enlighten my darkness.

Matt.6:22, The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light. 

Acts 26:18, to open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.’

Matt.3:2, and saying, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand!”

Acts 3:19, Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord,

2 Pet.1:20, knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation, 21 for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit. 19, And so we have the prophetic word confirmed, which you do well to heed as a light/lamp that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts; 

Rev.22:16, “I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things in the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, the Bright and Morning Star.”

Do not despise prophecies (1 Thess.5:20). Test all things, hold fast to what is good (1 Thess.5:21).

A good eye, a bad eye. What does it mean? (Luke 11:34)

Let’s imagine you enter a dark room. At first, you can barely make out anything in the room. A dimmer switch is on the wall, so you slowly raise the switch to increase light in the room.  The light slowly begins to shine on the objects in the room. You make out the shapes, and identify a tv on the wall, chairs surrounding a conference table, and some type of plant in the corner.  As the light in the room gets brighter, the objects don’t change, but the details of the objects become clearer. The color and shape of leaves indicate the type of plant, you see the brand and model tv, the material of the chairs and their structure, the detailed wood grain and color of the table.  

The tv doesn’t change into a bicycle, and then back to a tv, then back to a bicycle.  The table and chairs don’t morph into a car and broom, then reappear with chairs and stools. The plant doesn’t vanish, then present as a refrigerator.

This simple illustration describes the WT’s spiritual leaders who have a “bad eye,” blind guides walking in darkness, and the horrific result for both themselves and those they lead (Luke 11:34; Eph.4:18; 2 Pet.2:2; Matt.15:14; 7:15; 2 Tim.3:5; Luke 6:43-44; Matt.7:19; Luke 6:45; Prov.6:12; Prov.18:21; Rev.21:2-3,24-26; 22:2,14; 21:27). 

Let’s look at scripture to see what Jesus was talking about when he speaks of an “eye.”  

 A good eye is one part of the Body of Christ, a prophet given spiritual understanding of the prophetic word, as a lamp lit by oil/Holy Spirit that gives light to the entire Body (2 Pet.1:19; John 8:12; Psalm 18:28; Rev.22:16; Matt.6:22; 2 Pet.1:20-21; 1 Cor.3:16; 1 Cor.12:4,12; Rom.12:5; 1 Cor.12:29; Rom.12:6; Luke 11:34-36; Matt.5:14,16).  All members of the Body of Christ must speak truth because they are the spiritual priesthood, kings and priests, whose head is Jesus (Matt.28:18; John 17:2; 1 Cor.8:5-6; John 12:44-46,49-50; 6:63; 8:12; 14:6; Eph.5:23-26,30,27; 4:25; 1 Pet.2:5; Mal.2:7; Eph.2:1-2; 1 Pet.2:9; Eph.2:6; Rev.19:16; 1:6; 21:2; Zech.8:3; Rev.21:23-27; 22:1-5). True interpretation of prophecy illuminates the pathway to life for the entire Body/bride members to be holy and blameless, walking in the light, and giving life to those who heed their truthful teachings (2 Pet.1:19-21; Psalm 119:105; 16:11; Prov.4:18; 2 Cor.4:6).  In the time of the end, Jesus shines his light in a human messenger angel/prophet/star [Angels…just invisible?], sending his messenger to reveal to the remaining Body members their darkened spiritual condition (1 Tim.4:1; Matt.6:23; 2 Pet.2:1-2,17; Matt.24:24; John 8:44; 2 Cor.11:3; Eph.6:12; Matt.24:11,22; Rev.1:1-3,20; Mal.3:1-6,16-18; Mal.2:7; Rev.1:6).  A symbolic “two witnesses” (LINK) “Moses & Elijah” - Meditate upon these scriptures.  In the time of the end, why is this call to repentance needed (Elijah) and the commandments of God called to mind (Moses)? Because the bride of Christ must be clean, without spot or blemish (Eph.5:23,26-27). Anointed who are deceived by false prophets’ teachings of falsehood/lies/bad fruit, do not abide in Jesus but are unclean, impure, excluded from being a bride member, a representative of the city of truth, New Jerusalem…and no one who believes and endorses lies will enter the Kingdom of God (1 John 2:27; John 15:16,5-6; Titus 1:16; 2 Tim.3:7,5; 1 Cor.10:12; 2 Pet.3:2,17-18; 2 Cor.13:5; 1 Cor.15:50; Rom.8:9; 1 Pet.2:22; John 6:63; John 4:24; 1 Pet.1:16; Lam.3:40; Zech.8:3; Rev.21:2,23-26; 22:14; 21:27; 22:1-3; Deut.11:13; Matt.5:8; Rev.22:4; 14:1; 22:5,11-12,18-19; Matt.12:37; Prov.12:22). 

If a good eye is a true prophet, we easily deduce a bad eye is a false prophet. False prophets among God’s own people arise in the last days - they take the lead but are unfaithful (a harlot) without spiritual perception, spouting deceptive teachings, posing as ministers of righteousness, claiming their teachings are the truth, but are NOT (Matt.24:1-3,11-12,24; 2 Thess.2:1-4; Dan.11:36-37; Dan.8:11; Luke 21:20 [LINK] 2 Pet.1:19-21; 2:1-2; Matt.24:22,21 [LINK-Great Tribulation] Matt.7:15-19; Jer.23:29; 2 Thess.1:6-9 [LINK-lake of fire] Matt.7:20; 2 Cor.11:13-15; Rom.16:18; Phil.3:19; Hos.4:12; Prov.5:3; 7:21; Jer.5:26; Prov.7:25,27; Jer.5:26,30-31; Matt.7:21-23 [LINK-who is the harlot in Revelation].  These false prophets walk in darkness and do not have the light of life because they are unfaithful…God has shut their “eyes,” and they cannot perceive the meaning of His words (John 8:12; 6:63; 14:6; Matt.15:7-9; Isa.29:13; Psalm 69:23; Isa.29:10; Matt.13:14; Job 12:25; John 8:44; Psalm 112:4; Prov.4:19). Those who are held captive by their false teachings enter the dominion of darkness, a spiritual domain of wickedness where the false prophets’ authority is by Satan, an authority to deceive others by demonic lying teachings (Matt.6:23; Eph.6:12; 2 Cor.11:3; 1 Tim.4:1; 2 Pet.2:1; 2 Pet.2:2,17; John 8:44).  

Please, examine all scripture against what you are being taught so you can make a distinction between true interpretations and teachings of God, and false (1 John 4:1; John 6:63; 2 Tim.3:16; Prov.1:23; 1 Tim.2:4; John 14:6; John 17:3; Prov.3:5-6). The prophetic Word is clear that false prophets prophesying lies speak of their own imagination and are among God’s very own people; blind guides who mislead, just as prophesied by Jesus to occur in the last days (Deut.18:20-22; Jer.14:14; Ezek.13:2; Jer.23:11; 6:13-14; 23:21-22; 6:15; 2 Pet.1:20-21; 2:1-2; Acts 20:30; Matt.24:24-25). 

The “bad eye” is the unfaithful anointed leaders of WT, false prophets, a “lamp” without oil/Holy Spirit, recognized by their bad fruit/false teachings (Matt.6:22; Acts 20:30; Matt.6:23; Prov.4:19; Eph.4:18; Matt.7:15; 24:24; Matt.7:16; John 15:5; Matt.7:20)  Indeed, the unfaithful anointed leaders with their own mouths prophesy (claim to speak for the Father and Jesus), purporting their ever-expiring teachings and redacted prophetic interpretations are evidence of being led by God’s Spirit…yet teachings that vacillate and expire over time are bad fruit (2 Pet.1:20-21; 2:1-2; Matt.7:15; Luke 6:43-45; Matt.7:19). ALL of their prophecies (i.e., 1914, Beth-Sarim, 1975, “this generation,” etc.) have a stellar 100% failure rate. You are not to fear them (Deut.18:20-22; Isa.2:22).  Fear God (Psalm 33:8; Prov.14:27)!  Have not even the anointed leaders of WT published interpretation of the book of Revelation, a book that contains words of prophecy (Rev.1:3)?  Yes, they have, but their understanding of that book and all prophetic word they have interpreted does not remain, as all their teaching do not remain, being under constant redaction. And why? And we don’t need to know! Because we’re not the judges. It’s above our pay grade” (Source: JW Broadcasting - January 2024: Annual Meeting 2023, Part 2⁠ - 54:28).  Well, that is true…their pay grade is the wages of sin (Prov.12:13; Rom.6:23).  They admit they “do not know” yet they continue to teach false interpretations of the prophetic word, but clearly not by Holy Spirit, because no lie is of the Spirit (John 6:63; 1 John 2:27,20-21). Their teachings are from a deceitful spirit sourced in Satan, the father of the lie (2 Pet.1:20; Matt.6:23; Ezek.13:3; Matt.15:14; 2 Pet.2:17; 1:21; 2:1; 1 Cor.6:20; Rom.6:16; 1 Cor.7:23; Col.2:8; Matt.24:11; 2 Pet.2:2-3; Jer.5:26; Matt.10:36; Psalm 143:3; 88:12; Prov.4:19; Jude 1:13; 2 Cor.11:13-15; Jer.5:30-31; Matt.24:24; John 8:44; Matt.24:25; Rev.16:13).  They are in spiritual darkness, without the light of life they have no life, dead, along with all who are led by them…it is imperative that those who have been deceived by them, repent (Psalm 143:3; Prov.21:16; 2:1-2,11-13,15; Matt.15:14; John 8:12; 12:46; Rev.3:19; Prov.1:23).

“Son of man, you dwell in the midst of a rebellious house, which has eyes to see but does not see, and ears to hear but does not hear; for they are a rebellious house” (Ezek.12:2). “A faithful witness does not lie, But a false witness will utter lies” (Prov.14:5). “Leave them; they are blind guides. If the blind lead the blind, both will fall into a pit” (Matt.15:14), “For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned” (Matt.12:37). “See to it that no one takes you captive by philosophy and empty deceit, according to human tradition, according to the elemental spirits of the world, and not according to Christ” (Col.2:8). “A fool’s mouth is his destruction, And his lips are the snare of his soul” (Job 18:7).  “For among My people are found wicked men; They lie in wait as one who sets snares; They set a trap; They catch men” (Jer.5:26). “You love to destroy others with your words, you liar!” (Psalm 52:4). “Deliver my soul, O Lord, from lying lips And from a deceitful tongue” (Psalm 120:2). “The teaching of the wise is a fountain of life, that one may turn away from the snares of death” (Prov.13:14). “When wisdom enters your heart, And knowledge is pleasant to your soul, Discretion will preserve you; Understanding will keep you, To deliver you from the way of evil, From the man who speaks perverse things, From those who leave the paths of uprightness To walk in the ways of darkness” (Prov.2:10-13). “This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light, and there is absolutely no darkness in him. JW’s will say…“but the anointed leaders of WT do not claim to be a prophet.”  

Consider this: If I perform medical procedures, but outright state that I am not a licensed medical practitioner to those under my duty of care, does that remove my accountability?  Most certainly not.  Although I give disclaimer that I am not a licensed medical practitioner, but take liberty in performing medical procedures without a lawful license, I still remain liable. Disclaimers do not remove accountability for actions. I bear the responsibility for my unlawful actions, caring for the health of people and putting them at risk for adverse harm. Any who consent to receive my care bear their own responsibility for the choice they made, even fatal consequences (Ezek.14:10).

Both the blind guides (“bad eye”) of WT and those who seek their care/are led by them, bear responsibility for what they have chosen.  The consequence is fatal for the wrong choice. The eye of the Body of Christ, is the prophets

If the contemporary Body of Christ is lead by a bad eye (a wicked steward/false prophet/Harlot full of adultery -2Pet.2:14; Rev.17:2), that whole body will be thrown into darkness leading to Gehenna. 

The faithful are not to "tolerate" such an eye/false prophet

We "tear it out" of the Body of Christ (1Cor.5:13; Eph.5:11).
This is done, by not looking back to her (Rev.17:18; 18:4; Luke 17:32,28-29,32; Rev.18:4; 11:8), as the eye of a lustful man may seek intoxication from a harlot (Rev.17:2; Isa.52:11) instead of his chaste wife (Prov.5:19) (LINK).

We are washed clean by the word (Eph.5:26; John 13:10), and through a faithful "clear" "eye"/prophet (Matt.6:22),
       [and having the needed humility to weigh carefully, what is said

light returns to the body members that accept a good "eye" (1Thess.5:19-20; Matt.10:41).

The light in a faithful "eye"/prophet, can only benefit the other parts of the Body...

The harlot's false and poisonous doctrine cannot compare with the riches of truth which Christ entrusts to the work of his faithful priests

We recognize a false prophet, a false teacher, from a true prophet or teacher sent by Christ, by the quality of spiritual food.  (Proverbs 11:30; 18:21; John 15:7-8) Good food remains; not just for one meal, or one published magazine or book that is soon to be replaced by another.  Bad food, or “fruit”, rots away as Watchtower’s doctrines are continually replaced by more “bad fruit”.   (Proverbs 1:20-31; Matthew7:15-20; John 15:4-6)
